Our PDQ (Popular Demand Quantity) option provides authors with an opportunity to self-publish their books in a limited initial quantity, with successive orders for the publication being placed as demand for the book increases. We use new, highly flexible, high-quality digital imaging technology (versus traditional offset printing) to manufacture your book to your specifications, and we will forward all copies to you in less than one-half of the time required for conventional offset printing. Marketing & Promotion Specifications

Self-publishing with American Literary Press is your best alternative if you wish to promote your book yourself to libraries, book stores and specialty markets, or if you plan to give your book primarily to family and friends. American Literary Press can produce both hardbound and softbound books under any American Literary Press imprint or your own imprint.

Imprints:

fivestar.gif (1867 bytes)

The Five Star Special Edition imprint is reserved for authors who commit to proofreading or editing. All other authors may select the standard American Literary Press imprint or another genre-specific imprint.

heritage.gif (5074 bytes)

This imprint is designed for autobiographies, family histories, personal memoirs, or any book that describes, records and honors lives, experiences and relationships. These books often celebrate joys and treasured memories, and pass down valuable, hard-earned lessons to future generations.

quest.gif (5267 bytes)

The Quest imprint was created for books of a spiritual or religious nature. Many such books deal with the search for truth or enlightenment, often over many years, and the Quest imprint helps capture our authors’ illumination.

Because the children’s book market is so specialized and competitive, ALP has created the Shooting Star Edition. Authors who wish to distinguish their books as being specifically written for the juvenile market often opt for this imprint.

"Thank you for doing such a great job. Everyone seems so supportive. I am truly blessed. What a fun experience. Thanks for your continued help."
